For many of us, this time of year is school graduation time. A time of new beginnings and big accomplishments whether it is graduating from high school or college. A time to dress up in caps and gowns and get recognized by our family and friends for a job well done.
Over the years, my wife and I have been through many graduations. Starting with our kids, we have celebrated five different graduates with ceremonies and parties. It felt like such an accomplishment seeing our kids complete their time in public school and graduate into their next stage of life.
Next came the first of many graduations for our grandchildren, ten to be exact with three more to come. Our first grandchild graduated back in 2012 and wow, it seems like an eternity ago now. Over the next few years came the next nine to graduate. Some of them went through the COVID graduation where things were really different, limited people allowed or all done by live stream. This year we have two granddaughters graduating. This will leave us with one grandson to graduate, but we have four years to go before that one. Yet, thinking about this certainly makes us feel old.

Of course, we could go on and talk about the next level coming up, our great grandkids. It will be a few years before we start talking about them graduating, but our plans are to be around to attend their graduations and parties also.
Over the years, along with high school graduations, we celebrated our kids and grandkids with several graduations from career school, college, fire school, paramedic school and boot camp. We certainly feel so blessed to have such a large family, and to have seen so many graduations over the years. We congratulate all our graduates, and especially our two granddaughters as new graduates from the class of 2025. Great job by all.
I always like reading your personal meanderings! Thanks Good job.
